Overview
Flow Design Collaborative is leading the redesign of the Congress Park playground, including park access and circulation improvements. Located southeast of downtown Denver, Congress Park is a centrally located community park that provides park facilities for five Denver neighborhoods located within a one-mile radius of the park.
The proposed playground and picnic area renovation project re-imagines the approach to intergenerational and inclusive play while taking cues from the mature landscape of this historic park and neighborhood, including the parks previous life as a nursery which provided trees to the City’s new park and parkway projects in the early 1900’s. New neighborhood access points and internal park circulation improvements will provide much improved access throughout the park.
